The Instructor Position:

A Mad Science Instructor works both in person and remotely with preschool and elementary aged children to make science fun! We train all of our instructors on our programs and provide all materials you need! You just need to provide the enthusiastic excitement and personality needed to have fun with a group of children.

What you Do:

Although our headquarters is in Fair Lawn, NJ we are looking for people to work in North NJ (you will be scheduled in the counties closest to where you live). Instructors will programming traveling to libraries, recreation centers, and camp locations near their home, and work with a group of children, facilitating a fun, educational, and safe environment. We work to schedule you within a reasonable distance from your location and when you're required to travel we compensate for mileage.

We have a very strong emphasis on safety and are looking for people to help fulfill that need while educating our future scientists of the world!

What we need from You:

-Ability to enthusiastically lead activities to groups of up to 10 children both in person and virtually when necessary

-Availability between the hours of 2:00pm - 5:00pm from March-June. (Alternate hours may be accepted for certain positions).

-An outgoing, animated and fun-loving personality, with a professional demeanor

- Willingness to follow rapidly changing safety protocols set up by the CDC and State of NJ, including wearing a masks, temperature checks, etc.

-A vehicle available between the hours previously stated

Compensation: $40.00 per hour
